In May 2024, we received a special order from an Indian customer for 340 × 22 mm non-standard seamless steel tubes.
This is certainly a challenge because such sizes are not common and we do not have the corresponding inventory. Customized production, on the other hand, requires a longer delivery cycle and higher costs. However, as a professional steel pipe supplier, we are committed to meeting the unique needs of our customers and providing innovative solutions.
First, our technical team conducted a detailed analysis of the customer's needs. We found that although the size of 340 × 22 mm is not common in the market, we have ready-made seamless steel tubes of 351 × 22 mm. In order to meet the customer's requirements, we proposed a solution: to reduce the diameter of the existing 351 × 22 mm steel tube to achieve the 340 × 22 mm specification.
The process of reducing the diameter is a highly precise operation that requires specialized equipment and experienced technicians. Throughout the entire process, we strictly control the quality to ensure that the steel pipe not only meets the required dimensions after reduction but also has no defects.
